Position Summary

Postdoctoral position in stem cell and epigenetic regulation of trophoblast lineage development and placentation. An NIH funded postdoctoral position is available to study molecular mechanisms and signaling events controlling trophoblast stem cell development and differentiation and organization of the hemochorial placenta.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D., Reproductive Biology Research, strong work ethic, and commitment to become an independent scientist.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in molecular biology, rodent embryo handling and manipulation techniques, or human trophoblast and placentation.

Description of Job Duty

Research the epigenetics of trophoblast cell development.

Description of Job Duty

Involved in the generation and characterization of mutant rodent models for investigation of trophoblast cell development.

Description of Job Duty

Prepares written and oral reports on his/her research progress and participates in the preparation of manuscripts for publication.

Description of Job Duty

Assist in training other postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and research assistants in techniques used for the investigation of trophoblast-uterine interactions.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Director.
