Position Summary

The Department of Neurology at the University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking a Neuro-Oncologist to join our comprehensive cancer care team made up of a multidisciplinary team of specialists who approach care and treatment of each patient and family as unique.

Required Qualifications

• MD or foreign degree equivalent to an MD.
• Completion of a 3 year neurology residency.
• Completion of a 1 year fellowship in Neuro-Oncology Fellowship.
• Must hold or be eligible for a Kansas medical license.

Preferred Qualifications

Good written and oral communication skills.

Job Duties

Description of Job Duty

Be part of the Vascular Neurology program at the medical school.

Description of Job Duty

Supervise neurology residents. This will include supervision of residents in the hospital wards, and in the general neurology clinic. Generally, resident continuity clinic supervision is once a month.

Description of Job Duty

Teach medical students on the wards and in clinic, and provide occasional lectures to medical students. Pursue scholarly activity in the areas of general neurology disease.

Description of Job Duty

See patients in the outpatient neurology clinic.

Description of Job Duty

Other duties as assigned.
