Position Summary

This is a one year fellowship, encompassing a full spectrum of Facial Plastic Surgery as well as interdisciplinary management of these patients. Clinical and research involvement.

Required Qualifications

Admission to the fellowship is contingent upon completion of one of the ACGME-approved residencies in Otolaryngology, and eligibility to sit for a board examination in Otolaryngology.

Job Duties

Description of Job Duty

Involved as a primary or assisting surgeon on all facial plastic surgeries.

Description of Job Duty

Acts as a teaching physician resource for the residents.

Description of Job Duty

On each particular rotation, follows the pre-operative as well as post-operative course of the facial plastic patients who were first seen in clinic and then received surgery.

Description of Job Duty

Participates in ENT call pool of faculty members, taking staff call.

Description of Job Duty

Supervises residents on call and serves as an attending surgeon for urgent and emergent procedures during the on call time.

Description of Job Duty

Has didactic teaching responsibilities including resident/medical student lectures and one or two presentations at Grand Rounds.

Description of Job Duty

Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

Description of Job Duty

Sees clinical patients for various presenting complaints as pertains to Otolaryngology.

Description of Job Duty

Sees inpatient consults and staff residents as needed on patients with otolaryngology complaints.

Other duties as assigned.
