Position Summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center is currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and results oriented HR Project Manager to join our Human Resources team and to ensure consistency with medical center strategy, commitments and goals.

This dynamic role will, under minimal supervision, be responsible for the initiation, planning, coordination, control, communication, execution, implementation, and overall direction of key HR and HRIS projects and initiatives. In addition, the HR Project Manager will provide essential analysis functions, including identification, examination, and evaluation of business needs, project results, and productivity and performance metrics, and participate in all reasonable work activities as may be deemed suitable and assigned by HR leadership.

Required Qualifications
  • BS/BA. Minimum 3 years’ Project Management experience
  • Experience with implementation of process improvement initiatives.
  • Two years human resources work experience
  • Practical experience managing projects, implementing systems, defining business requirements, and analyzing business processes and metrics
  • Strong working knowledge of HR systems and operations
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications and the ability to quickly learn new software products

Preferred Qualifications
  • MA/MS
  • PMP Certification
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • 5+ years HR experience
  • Familiarity with MS-Access

Hiring Range $50,000-$70,000
